August 7th, 2009 Consider Apple Cider Vinegar
Remember Bragg organic, raw, apple cider vinegar for its cleansing properties that are known to aid digestion by stimulating the flow of enzymes and saliva. Vinegar can relieve arthritis pain, headaches, balancing pH levels, easing your sore throat and normalizing weight, blood pressure and high cholesterol levels. Vinegar will reduce blood pressure and strengthen the heart muscle because it acts as a blood thinner and artery plaque remover, which reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks. Vinegar also contains potassium, which keeps the heart bloodstream healthy, and also keeps the soft tissue flexible and resilient. Externally, it helps heal cuts, insect bites, sunburns, jock itch and diaper rash. Women; give yourself a vinegar facial for toning and clearing up acne and exfoliating dry dull skin. Men can clean up well also! Your animal pets will thank you if you use it as a soothing rinse for cats and dogs to eliminate dry, itching skin; and it helps in older animals with arthritis. Rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar to correct many scalp and hair conditions including bacillus. Make sure you use raw, organic vinegar, never dead, distilled vinegar because the natural enzymes, minerals, and nutrients are destroyed in the distilling process. Any vinegar that is clear and has no “Mother” (the substance in the bottom of the bottle with fibrous strands) which has no nutritional value. Natural raw vinegar should be pungent, with a rich brownish color and a visible “Mother”. Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar is cold-pressed in wood barrels, and made only from organically grown apples. I do not own any stock in Braggs, it is just that I am unaware of a better product. http://www.trivita.com/13113501
